Instructions To
Create & Submit Template
- Open an empty dataset view and create CI
instances and relationships in CMDB Workshop (See
CMDB Workshop User Guide).
- Export the view as a template.
- Go to <CMDB Workshop Home>/system/modelTemplates
and find the directory that contains the template
you created. Zip the directory. The zip file should
contain the template directory.
- Create a template image file. It's
very easy to generate a template image file. Just select "Export Image..." menu option in the
view to generate a gif image file. Please set view
graphics properties to: Draw Grid Off,
Background (204, 255, 204), Relationship Line
Color (0,0,255), Label Background (204,204,255).
We can generate the image for you too if you
don't use any CDM
Extension classes and if you don't mind the graph layout.
- Send the zip file, the image file and the following information to
support@bluelineG.com
- A short description
- Template name
- List the CDM extensions used in the template
- Template source: your name, contact info,
etc.
